Answers or Questions ?
There are times when in the pace of things
Life and people pose questions to me
In the heat of the moment , in the middle of things ...
They seem like in-passing , inconsequential , unimportant
Then.
And they vanish into an unknown darkness , not even touching the subconscious
I brush them aside in their insignificance ...
And then circumstances arise
And the questions emerge
As if like magic
As if by chance
And become the most important , crucial that life has asked ...
And I wonder whether it's life reminding me of when I ignored them
Or life chose me to ignore them then
Knowing full well time would answer them
Anyway ...
Time would answer them
Anyway ....
And for some ...I would have to wait
Patiently
Unanswered then , unanswered now
But realise they will be walking with me
Tip toeing too at times
Within my being
From here on ...
